GPGLL

Super class zdGPSKit.NMEA.Sentence

This NMEA sentence provides latitude, longitude and time information for the current fix.


Constructor


Syntax
Constructor( inNMEA0183DataChunk As String )

The only parameter needed is a NMEA 0183 sentence without the '$' prefix and the checksum value.

Latitude

Syntax
Latitude() As String

The latitude in ddmm.mmmmm format. The number of decimal may change depending on the GPS device type.

LatitudeHemisphere

Syntax
LatitudeHemisphere() As String

The latitude hemisphere letter. N = North, S = South.

Latitude

Syntax
Longitude() As String

TheLongitude in dddmm.mmmmm format. The number of decimal may change depending on the GPS device type.

LongitudeHemisphere

Syntax
LongitudeHemisphere() As String

The longitude hemisphere letter. E = East, W = West.

ModeIndicator

Syntax
ModeIndicator() As String

The mode indicator ( Since NMEA 0183 v2.3 ). See the Sentence constants description about the returned values and their meaning.

Status

Syntax
Status() As String

The fix status: A = Active ( i.e. data are valid ) or V = Void ( i.e. Invalid data ). You can use use the constant described below.

UTCTimeString

Syntax
UTCTimeString( inWithDecimal As Boolean = False ) As String

Returns the UTC time as hh:mm:ss[.sss]. if you pass True as parameter, the decimal seconds will be included.
