A data model class that represents a GPS satellite.


Properties


Azimuth

Syntax
Azimuth As Integer  

The azimuth of the satellite in the sky in degrees. The value ranges from 0° to 359°, where 0° represents the North.

Elevation

Syntax
Elevation As Integer

The elevation of the satellite in the sky in degrees. The value ranges from 0° to 90°, where 0° represents the horizon line and 90° the upright ( vertical ) of the GPS device location.

PRN

Syntax
PRN As Integer

The Pseudo Random Noise code of the satellite. As there can't be no more than 32 active GPS satellites at any time, the value ranges from 1 to 32.

SNRatio

Syntax
SNRatio As Integer

The Signal-to-Noise Ratio of the reception for the satellite in decibel (dB). It represents the quality of the reception. The higher the value, the better the signal.

UsedInFix

Syntax
UsedInFix As Boolean

This property is True if the satellite is used by the GPS device to calculate the fix.
